A 250-room Marriott Hotel and Convention Center is set to open by 2027, with construction beginning in the coming months. This $34 million hospitality development on Padre Island Seawall will feature two Marriott brands, a conference center, and a restaurant/bar facility. The project aims to address the local shortage of high-quality hotel rooms and to spark new development along the Seawall corridor. Convention visitors will be within 1500' of Lake Padre Village.
